From December 25th through January 5th, I’m running a series called the Twelve Days of Tips-Mas, offering quick and easy tips for social media use by photographers.
On the seventh day of Tips-Mas, this blogger said to thee: Include your URL (and an interesting tagline) in forum signatures. Hopefully you’re participating in online forums related to photography and your other interests. Most forums allow for a “signature” to be automatically appended to each post by a member. Include a link to your site in your signature. Better yet, include both a tagline and a link. Don’t just send ‘em to “JoeSmithPhotography.com”, give them a teaser and some text that makes them want to check out your site.
