From December 25th through January 5th, I’m running a series called the Twelve Days of Tips-Mas, offering quick and easy tips for social media use by photographers.
On the first day of Tips-Mas, this blogger said to thee: Fill out those social network descriptions/biographies. Every social network offers some way to provide a bit of information about oneself… be sure to fill out your profile or settings information so that visitors to your pages can learn a bit about you. Make it known that you’re a photographer. Make sure that you enter your location so that potential clients know your whereabouts. If there’s an option to include a web link, include a link to your website or blog.
Leaving a profile blank is a good way to have your presence ignored. Why wouldn’t you want to enter at least a couple sentences about who you are and what you do?
