I know I follow the blogs and photo websites of some of our regular commenters, but I know there are a lot of you who have websites and blogs and Twitter accounts that I might not know about.

BTW, I'm curious as to why you're using Disqus, instead of that other WP product, ID? BTW, I just suspended ID on my site – and trying it without.

I used Intense Debate on another site – I kept running into problems with comments not appearing for a long time. Someone would leave a reply and I'd know because i got the notification message, but the comment wouldn't appear in the comment widget on the site for an hour or two.

Yeah, I've been having those issues too. I'm running Disqus on a Blogger
site I manage/moderate and it seems to work fine. I just thought I'd keep

Btw, it would be wonderful if this site followed the social media reciprocity trend by turning off nofollow on the comment links, especially when you encourage people to post their website / twitter links

Interesting business model… I'd love to hear if that pans out and if folks are willing to pay the price for the personalized attention. I'm not sure if you intended your comment to come off like a sales pitch or advertisement, but it did… just a word of caution that if you're going to be leaving comments elsewhere you might tone down the “pitch” in your comments and just let your website speak for itself.
