Boost Your Blog for the New Year: 2010 and Beyond

by Aaron on January 1, 2010

Did one of your resolutions for 2010 involve kicking your blog up a notch? Want to move your blog from an afterthought to a core part of your online presence, both for retaining existing clients as well as attracting new ones?

Party Hat CookiesI can heartily recommend ProBlogger Darren Rowse’s workbook 31 Days to Build a Better Blog. A lot of books on blogging offer lots of theoretical advice, but Darren’s workbook outlines 31 specific things that any blogger can do to boost the oomph of their site. Darren knows blogging, and he’s sharing his power tips.

Although the workbook was designed for daily use for a month of power blogging, here’s a great way to take things slower and turn it into more of a project for the coming year: take each of the 31 tasks/tips and implement one a week. That’ll boost your blog power for over seven months (by which time you’ll have a great foundation to continue).

The best part? The workbook is a steal at less than $20 – pick up a copy and turn yourself into a powerful photography blogger!
